Philadelphia Science Festival - April 15-28th 2011


For two weeks Philadelphia's schools, universities, cultural institutions, and research centers will come together as a single, united voice to put science in the spotlight. Scientists and engineers throughout the city will present fun, interactive programs for people of all ages. Science Carnival on the Ben Franklin Parkway
Saturday, April 16


For the official kick-off of the Philadelphia Science Festival, Logan Circle will be transformed into a free, outdoor science extravaganza.

Science Day at the Ballpark with the Philadelphia Phillies
Wednesday, April 20

The Phillies will host a “Science Day” to showcase the athletic side of science, featuring family activities, science demos set up throughout the concourse and trivia on the jumbotron about the science of baseball.
