The oldest street in the United States is in Philadelphia. Elfreth's Alley which is a residential alley located off of Second Street between Arch and Race Street in Philadelphia's Old City, is the oldest continuously inhabited residential street in the country. It dates back to the early 1700s and a National Historic Landmark.
