Cell phone law for N.J. drivers starts Saturday

Cell phone law for N.J. drivers starts Saturday, March 1, 2008

Staring March 1 in New Jersey using a hand-held phone in motor vehicle will no longer be a secondary offense it will be first offense.
March 1, it's a primary offense, meaning a cop can pull you over if he sees you with a cell phone to your ear or text messaging.
So, be careful out there and refrain from sending text message while driving. If don’t have one already get yourself a hands-free device.
