Philadelphia City Archive

If you didn't have a chance to catch the article in the Philadelphia Inquirer, May 9, 2007, it talks about Philadelphia City Archive, which is one the country’s largest municipal archives, with an estimated 2 million photographs that date from the late 1800’s. Here the memories of Philadelphia are not lost nor forgotten just digitalized. Run by the City of Philadelphia’s Department of Records, PhillyHistory.org makes these images via online.
