"Sex and the City" in Philadelphia

The most long-awaited chick flick "Sex and the City" opens today to the public. For all who know MsFinney know I am true and loyal fan of Sex and the City…...yes I have the box set still in the original plastic. (Do not attempt to ask to borrow it!) I already brought my ticket for tonight showing.

So where is the after parties, well there was couple this week (Swanky Bubbles) for the preimere, however tonight at the Marbar join Kemlon, Team BBC, and Social Society for an exclusive movie release after-party at MARBAR (40th and Walnut St. Philadelphia)!

Sometimes I just don't know what's going on.

I was driving down Lancaster Avenue in Lower Merion/Ardmore (this past Saturday) and came across this outside the Lower Merion Twp Bldg.

Owen Wilson in Philadelphia

While jogging on Kelly Drive today, guess who I saw? Owen Wilson.

I passed him while he was jogging/running with a Owen Wilson look alike. I assuming it was his stunt double or stand-in because they look they could be brothers.

My sources tell that he is in town to film scenes for "Marley & Me due to be release December 2008.

2008 Dad Vail Regatta

Dad Vail Regatta May 9-10th.

The Dad Vail Regatta is one of Philadelphia's crown jewels by being largest collegiate regatta in the United States, with over 100 colleges and Universities from the U.S. and Canada.

Black Lily Film & Music Festival / Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival

Well folks, I miss out on the 2nd Annual Black Lily Film & Music Festival and the Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival. I went out of town last week and just totally forgot all about it, when I came back. NJIT Independence Hall and City Tavern

Yesterday I went to the NJIT Philadelphia Chapter Tour of Old City which include a tour of Independence Hall and dinner at the City Tavern.


City Tavern was a extra treat. I have always wanted to go there, and I am so glad I had chance. The Medallions of Beef with Green Peppercorn Sauce was so tender, it melted in my mouth.
